Company

  • 1971

    Intrapak S.p.A. was founded in 1971 in Cormano (Milan – Italy) by Ferruccio and Palmino Pedretti in an area of 3600 sqm. At the beginning, the company specialized in the production of shoppers for the mass market.
    The company gained two important recognitions for their passion and their special customer care:

    • Prize for quality and care in 1979,
    • International Prize Ercole d’Oro (Oscar for the economic activities) in 1980.
  • The ‘90s

    During the ‘90s the production is transformed in industrial packaging mainly for the automotive industry.
    The new generation of the family starts working in the company and the business is expanded to other industries, such as the food and chemical ones.

  • 2000

    The new millennium brings a wave of strong technology change: to reduce the quality of plastic in the environment, the company starts reducing the thickness maintaining the same level of performance (from 40 micron to the present 16/18).
    The company shows the ability to interact with the diverse industrial fields to provide tailored dedicated products.

  • 2006

    In 2006 Intrapak S.p.A. is recognized with another prize:

    • The Diploma con medaglia d’oro della Camera di Commercio of Milan for their 35-year-praiseworthy activity
  • 2017

    In September 2017, a new productive location is opened in Inverigo (Como), an overall area of 12000 sqm, boosting an accurate organization of the business process which is possible also thanks to the new automatic system 4.0 for the storage, piping, and dosing to grant the absence of contaminants in the product.

    After 50 years from its birth, today our company is specialized in the production of high quality flexible packages and boasts a production capacity of 6000 tons per year.

Trigeneration


In a context of energy efficiency, we have been investing in setting up a trigeneration system for the simultaneous production of electrical energy (using gas), heat energy, and cooling energy for the industrial process.
